Review on Motorad 439 180 Thermostat by Matt Minette

This thermostat is great and a great price. This lowered the temperature by about 10-12 degrees across the board. I've had about 205 around town and about 197-199 on the freeway. Hot idle sometimes rose to 212. Now using this thermostat I see temps hovering around 195-197 city, 188-195 highway and idle rarely goes above 201. All of these temps are measured by my ultra sensor. .My only complaint was that I ordered this and there was a large chip/hole on the side of the thermostat. It's plastic and like it was attached to something and then just broke off leaving a deformation. I sent the first one back and got the second one with the same defect. I assume this is just the result of the manufacturing process. Anyway, I installed it and it works great. Super easy to install and works as it should.
