Fits 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport V6 3.7L 4x4

Fits my daughter's 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport V6 3.7L 4x4 perfectly. I installed it without removing the wheels or springs it sits in. how do you ask I put blocks on the front wheels and then jacked up the Jeep's rear diff according to the owner's manual. I raised it so the weight of the tires lowers the suspension and the springs have less drag as a result. With both wheels in the air, I took a piece of 1x4 wood about 2 feet long and stuck it between the springs. I had the best luck between the 2nd and 3rd rings on the bottom of the spring. While spreading the springs, I took a baffle sprayed with WD40 silicone spray and glued it through the exposed spring. First I went to the small end. It will pass with conviction. After spraying the metal seat and the large end of the jounce bumper with silicone spray. To make the next part you need a little patience. Using my fingertips, I inserted the large end of the fender into the metal socket at an angle, took a plastic trim remover and inserted the other end into the metal socket. It takes some strength. If you use a screwdriver for this, be careful not to tear off the bump stop. After sitting down, I took a screwdriver, stuck it in the bottom of the fender and pulled it down to secure the fender from all sides. Once you start moving and get past speed bumps or whatever, they should fit even better. Total time was around 25-30 minutes. It worked for me, I hope it works for you too. You may have to use your own tools to pry open and install the fender depending on what you have on hand. This is an often overlooked part of this car's suspension. They serve a purpose and should be checked and replaced if necessary. This is a quality product.
