It's ok, but not very durable

So what I noticed is that the Cricut Easy Press mat (the official one) has that 'ironing board cover' feel to it - like there are metallic threads in it or something that might help with evening heat? Anyway, this one just feels like flimsy cotton. It's also too soft - too padded, and not firm enough for a good press. Save your money and get the real deal for a few more dollars.

It works the way it says. I'm enjoying using it with my easy press.

The surface may become discolored or stained over time, reducing the quality of transfers
