I bought 8 of these 6.5" in-ceiling ribbon tweeters for my surround sound in my high end basement cinema system. I installed them in a false ceiling. They sound pathetic for bass, even at low levels. It's like woofers flapping. Even at -12 bass it's still annoying and embarrassing. So I called Monoprice tech support. What a joke. They told me these speakers are not designed for home theater sound and cannot explain what to do to fix the problem. My plan was ceiling speakers for high frequencies and some mids and a high end floorstanding subwoofer for bass to use. So I would just crank the bass all the way up and let the subwoofer take over the bass. That won't happen with these. You have to somehow use that circuit board on the back of these speakers to boost the bass even at negative bass levels. But in any case, the mono price does not necessarily decide. Basically SO BAD π€·ββοΈ
