The strap that came with the belt wasn't exactly ivory. Instead, I bought another ribbon from a local fabric store. The backing was so thin I had a spot where I sewed it to the tape and broke the lining. Maybe I should have put it differently. There were no instructions. I had to pin the loose beads individually in this area. The beads and pearls were beautiful and a lot cheaper than buying a ready made belt from a bridal shop. I used some extra length beads to decorate the dress around the neckline.
