Too "big " for a hob hood, 3.9 " instead of 3.25 " :-(

The light seems to have good color temperature and brightness and matches our hood's hole diameter, but it's at least 1/2 inch lower (taller) than our old bulbs so it's sticking out under the hood's rim and blinding us when I put a 3.25- inch version of it, I would buy it immediately.

Pros

With a service life of 10,000 hours, the light bulb lasts over 9 years (with 3 hours of use per day)
