I drive a lot and it was an issue that I couldn't connect my phone to the car's auxiliary audio system unless I dropped my phone in the console where it wouldn't be accessible. The car is old enough that it doesn't have Bluetooth integration, so I was looking for a way to connect a phone so I could listen to Tunes and my favorite music streaming services while still easily viewing and accessing the phone. I checked the cables. in stock and found this mom to dad audio cable that would essentially extend the car's extra audio cable to where I could put the phone in its mount and still see the phone. The length might have been a bit long for this purpose, but the extra length makes it more adaptable - rear seat drivers - oh I mean passengers - can use it too. The plugs on both ends are precisely sized so there are no hassles when attaching them. The physical strength of the cable is good and it appears to be able to withstand prolonged use. The sound quality is also excellent - no different than using an existing car auxiliary cable. both connect it to the car radio and charge at the same time. An absolute win for those of us with old cars!
