Good hardware, slightly dodgy software

I bought this for my desktop computer which I placed in a room with no ethernet connection. It's a cute little device and I love that it comes with a USB extension cable so you can place it in the optimal position. What stops it from being a great product is the software. First, my PC doesn't have a CD drive, so I had to search online for a driver. After some effort I was able to find it. However, the installation was a problem. After several tries and many reboots I finally got it working. The user interface seems very dated and not very intuitive. It took me a while to save my wifi password and log in automatically. After some effort and frustration, I finally have a nice, reliable connection that works automatically at startup. The signal strength isn't as good as my laptop, but the speed is almost the same. Now that the software is set up, it's running in the background without my noticing, so that's good. This device at a good price can suit you. Otherwise you can try to find something more user friendly.
