I'm a huge tech enthusiast and I'm always looking for ways to improve it and make it easier to use. When I came across this product I came across something that did just that!♥ Like MagSafe!I was a little confused with Apple products because I went in the direction of dropping MagSafe adapters.This adapter combines the best of the USB-C 3.1 standard and the MagSafe standard to offer the perfect combination of good design and functionality. ♥ I'm delighted! Works with my MacBook Pro 16" and iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd generation). I bought two magnetic adapters of my own free will. The truth is, I want to use it anywhere I have a USB-C connection (from tablets to my 16-inch MacBook Pro - and yes, it works with the new 16-inch model). I'm addicted to these magnetic adapters! ♥ Complies with USB C 3.1 Gen2 performance and data rate specifications. On rare occasions, power consumption exceeds what the adapter can deliver (around 97 W), and the MacBook Pro 16 draws more than that. However, this is due to Apple's own design and not attributable to the magnetic adapter. In fact, this magnetic adapter runs at up to 100W, providing enough power to satisfy his appetite! Also, based on my own throughput testing, they actually work with the USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 standard. I compared the results with Apple's wired cable and this MagSafe adapter. You are above and equal! I am impressed! Maybe Apple will hire engineers to make it?♥ The magnets are strong enough to hold the cables but not pull the base out! The magnets are perfect too. You've found the right balance where the base doesn't pull out of the USB-C port BUT the cable holds perfectly. Careful thought has been given to the design! I am very impressed! ♥ Very rarely am I 100% convinced of a product. Even rarer when they exceed it! These MagSafe USB-C adapters are a godsend! You have my complete trust. Go and buy a bunch today!
