One of the best I've tested so far.

Tired of buying magnetic cables that either only work for shift or not for data transfer and vice versa, plus the fact that many connectors have been changed, making the cable suitable for use with others devices becomes superfluous. What I liked about this product is that you only need a USB type 'A' to 'C' or straight 'C' cable and you can attach it to a magnetic connection in a jiffy if you wish can customize. . Superb Magnetic USB-C Adapter

This magnetic adapter is exactly what I need. Many competitors receive negative reviews due to insufficient magnet strength. The power cord puts pressure on the magnet and when the computer is on your lap, the cord falls off. I'm typing this on my MacBook in my lap and the magnet is holding great. I purposely tripped over the cable and it detached from the computer without the computer moving. I backed up my computer to an SSD and the data transferred perfectly. I don't have a way to measure…

This is terrible, don't buy it.

I just want to point out how much this product sucks. It should be great, looks like it's going to be great. But that's very, very bad. I have two of these now. The first one was defective and the magnetic parts didn't fit together properly, so I replaced it. The second seemed perfect. They fit perfectly, well attached to the magnets. It's not the best design, as it's incredibly easy to knock off - a wire just stuck the wrong way around can pull it out - but it seemed to work. Then gradually…

Massive failure - this may have damaged my MacBook

First, it should be noted that the manufacturer includes a note that if you leave a 5 star review, you will get a $15 off the second unit. This probably explains the high ratings in the reviews. I've used this (luckily) on a laptop provided by my company - MBP 16".
