I just want to point out how much this product sucks. It should be great, looks like it's going to be great. But that's very, very bad. I have two of these now. The first one was defective and the magnetic parts didn't fit together properly, so I replaced it. The second seemed perfect. They fit perfectly, well attached to the magnets. It's not the best design, as it's incredibly easy to knock off - a wire just stuck the wrong way around can pull it out - but it seemed to work. Then gradually began to work less and less. Some connection problem, but obviously there is nothing physically wrong with the item. It clicks and does nothing. Sometimes it loads, sometimes not. Some alignments sometimes work, sometimes not. Holding it manually makes it work every time in any orientation, but leaving it alone is only a guess. I am extremely disappointed. Magsafe was a brilliant invention and a product like this should have replicated that functionality; it is not a particularly complex device. But unfortunately this particular product sucks and I wish I knew before it's too late to return it. If there's something similar that costs three times the money, this is probably what you need.
