My 2 year old loves this set! She has some chunky Melissa and Doug puzzles, so I decided to try the slip-on puzzles. They are not as strong as the massive ones. She puts objects in her mouth, and the pieces are made of soft wood and are damaged, unlike thick ones. The shapes and numbers are great for their age. The letter puzzle is quite confusing. The pieces aren't even shaped like letters, so she can't even arrange them by shape. And if you don't know all the characters, the pictures behind them won't tell you anything. Still cute and love the other two.
