Why is it so difficult to find a decent dish dryer that actually drains water? After a few months of research I bought this one. I ordered red, but it's more bordeaux. Sigh. As you can see, any glasses or mugs placed on the coasters are drained straight onto the counter and not into the dryer. Sigh. So I put a towel underneath. Overall, this drain seems to go to the sink, although the gradient is very slight. I just didn't want to glue a cotton towel underneath because that would make it less stable. The dish holders only have small holes at the bottom so I'm not sure how well they drain, but the bottom of the dish holder has a slight slope to allow water to drain and is very easy to change. The dish holder does not hold well on the dish dryer. This dryer is a good size and fits a couple of plates and cups, just put a towel underneath. This is still new so I will update this review if necessary. It is used in our seasonal rental property so it doesn't get much wear. For the price it lasts 4-5 years better. here I hope.
