This product is built wrong; the tailbone mat is on the wrong side. The purpose of an abmat is to support the lumbar (the small of your back) with the highest part of the mat and offer full range of motion when in full extension of the sit up. This product is built backwards where the lowest part is under your lumbar and the highest part is towards the top of your back, thus preventing full range of motion and creating potential for injury. When this mat is used properly, the tailbone pad becomes irrelevant because it's under your back and behind your shoulders. The tailbone pad cannot be cut off w/o ruining the abmat part due to construction. Also to note, the Yes4All abmat is hard and made of cheap material - I am returning and happily paying 2x as much to support the reputable and consistent high quality brand, Rogue.PSA: Based on this purchase, I searched abmats and discovered that most of the no name/alternate brands show models using them improperly. This is super upsetting considering many people who are new to abmat sit ups (and at home work outs) know no different and will have minimal results and/or different back issues due to improper technique. Shame on companies for jumping on the band wagon to produce sports equipment without the proper research and expertise. I will no longer support these brands without doing my own company research; I implore you to do the same. Thank you.
