I ordered this product first because it is in stock. At the time, it looked like this case would be stronger and more durable than most other cases available for next-day delivery. It was a mistake on my part to rush into the purchase I made. I just couldn't afford to order a new iPad without them. Upon arrival it looked great right out of the box. I had no issues with the overall quality this product arrived in. The problems I encountered started after trying to use it. When I started putting this case on my tablet; then I realized that this purchase was unsuccessful. The case is slightly smaller than the iPad. Not much, just a little. I noticed a tight fit, but I still managed to successfully fuse the edges. At the time I thought everything was fine and maybe I was thinking too much about it, but moments and weeks later the clamps kept opening and releasing. They are small and fragile, not broken. I continued to make sure they were safe with each use and prior to storage. It would be tolerable if that was the only problem. My second problem was the pen dock. I don't know if it was due to a slight mismatch in the iPad case or the case itself, but after a few uses of my Apple Pencil it had trouble connecting to the magnetic strip. If you wiggle it a little, it registers, which again is good. The part that wasn't ok was I had to make sure the stylus registered and charged successfully and then wanted to store my tablet but when I went to use it I found my stylus was gone. I usually keep my tablet in my bag so I can usually find it, but after some commuting to and from work, I now have my missing Apple Pencil. Again, it was my fault for continuing to use this case despite knowing the problems. I just felt I had to use it for the price I paid for it, again it was my fault - but now I'm disappointed in myself and in a case having to change my pencil.
