When we recently decided to cut the cable, we planned to access network television using an OTA antenna. Unfortunately, the antenna connection for some Samsung TVs (circa 2010) is not a standard coaxial connection. We no longer had the factory adapter, part number bn39-01154p, and couldn't find it anywhere. This detail can be made to work. It is ideally screwed to the coaxial cable. The end that plugs into the TV port is too big and won't stay in place. We solved this problem by using pliers to slightly flatten this part until it stays in place. We then used a few strips of tape to secure the cord to the back of the TV to keep it from dangling. We now have flawless OTA network coverage. Significantly cheaper than a new TV.
