Excellent value for money. You can get a small cup of this lube at your local hardware store, but it costs more and only costs 0.5 ounces. Good for lubricating anything that moves slowly (rather thick) and it never wears out. I have used this on the plastic threads of my pool pump and filter and it has held up over 2 years of constant salt water immersion - all fittings are easy to remove and the filter is easy to change. A word of caution (didn't happen to me): if you wear contact lenses, be careful not to get any of it on your fingers as it's almost impossible to get it off your hands (it rubs off fairly easily though) . not completely). and can seriously irritate your eyes if you accidentally get contact lenses.
