Works like a charm The only problem I had was that the USB pigtail was too short, I have HDMI on one side of the laptop and USB on the other. Otherwise I would have kept it. I didn't want to plug in a longer cable or get an extension cord as that defeats the purpose. I liked how the USB and HDMI were grouped in one row, which made routing very clean. I had to use a competitor's KVM because the USB cables were longer BUT separate. What I also liked is that there is a control box so you can throw everything under the table and control it from the kill box. Also, this kvm allowed me to selectively select the computer I wanted to use. More expensive boxes have a button and you have to scroll through each computer until you find the one you want. Everything was easy with this kvm, take it and use it. The screen quality was excellent. There was a slight delay when switching, but what helps is clicking the mouse once or twice or clicking the keyboard, which activates the monitor's output to the computer. I usually have my display turned off when not plugged in, so this is really a computer issue, not a KVM issue. In general, I strongly recommend if you have USB and HDMI nearby. If you have a laptop where they are on opposite sides you will either need to get a USB extension cable or plug it in if you are a savy.
