I bought these sandals to replace a 15 year old sandal and was looking for something that would last and be just as comfortable as the old ones. These did not disappoint us. I was afraid the footpad would be too grippy when wearing socks (which I often do) and they are great. Velcro will hold and not come off on an uneven surface (in the field). I don't feel like my feet are slipping out of them at all. If you have high feet and a wide front then these should suit you. Overall a great product that I'm sure will last me another 15 years.
