Review on πŸ§‚ Zassenhaus Speyer 5.1-Inch Dark Stained Beech Pepper Mill: Superior Quality and Style for Perfectly Ground Pepper by Ashley Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Zassenhaus Speyer 5.1 Beauty

After I lubricated the top of the metal and wood slip ring with meat block oil, turning became easier. However, turning the knob (angle) is inconvenient but looks cute. The mechanism bends when crushing pepper; the rotating part of the mill is not centered between the fixed millstones during milling rotation. Reversing the handle to reveal the milling path allows the center drill to relax and center itself. Mechanically just doesn't feel reliable. The thread tolerance of the tank cap is minimal. The evenness of grinding is not very (because of the bend?). Fine peppercorns go into the mill better than larger ones (grinding degree 2.5-3). Like the look.
