Not so quick with a five star rating! I'm not sure if any of the previous reviewers have ever worked with a good heavy duty vise. I bought this because I needed a smaller angle adjustable vise with high reviews. I give it three stars because it's just a poor quality vise. If you've ever used one of the original Bridgeport devices, having it factory installed says it all! Luckily I'll be working on small aluminum parts that don't require heavy cutting. It won't require heavy cuts in mild steel, it's just that there isn't enough flesh to handle the heavy loads. So don't buy this device if you expect quality performance. It will work for the hobbyist, but not for the workshop!
