Everyone will have many uses for this, but I use it to move my legs from my high desk chair. I built myself a high table so I can stand while I work, but when I sit, my legs dangle because of my height because the ring at the base of the chair makes me uncomfortable. I received this stool and it is the perfect height and very comfortable when I put my feet on it. The width is good too. I can easily get in with both feet. This size 13 loves it.
