I read many reviews before buying this product and the biggest problem I saw was , that people couldn't recognize her phone sensor. I bought it anyway knowing others could pair their sensors with a pair. I had absolutely no trouble getting the phone to recognize the sensor. They were recognized immediately. However, I came to Florida to ride for a month and joined the group. The sensors worked great. until I drove to someone else's with Bluetooth. Then the sensors are disconnected. At first I thought it was just batteries, so I replaced the batteries and reconnected the sensors. I did a few rides and on the third ride it happened again. Then I noticed someone's Bluetooth was interfering with mine. I've since bought a Garmin with ANT sensors and haven't had any issues. If you want to ride alone, this sensor will work, but if you want to ride around others, look for sensors that use ANT technology. To avoid draining the battery, you should also leave the screen off for almost the entire journey. I hate promoting any other product but I really prefer my Garmin over the Runtastic.
