Over the years we have bought MANY of these GPS, Garmin, TOM TOM etc devices and thought they were great until we bought a car with a NAV system built in . take it from me Get a built-in NAV system. They are better. If you don't have one and don't want to buy a new car, we love GARMIN GPS devices and choose the ones that come with FREE LIFETIME updates. often as I should and it's a hassle to update them in different places. but they usually give the right instructions, and if they don't, it's NOT FUN. Personally, I have ONE with a young woman's voice that I really, really enjoy taking direction from. As long as I agree with the directions for the ride. Not sure if this is the one that shows advertised speeds on freeways and actually shows you a visualization of the road when exits appear on the freeway. It's great to see the road you're driving on the Garmin display. I also like the automatic setting for night driving and almost all the features on offer.
