Ok, let me stop the chatter. I bought a used French door Dacor fridge from MARKETPLACE. The seller wanted $800. He told my wife $700 if we take her same day. He delivered it and gave a 30 day guarantee. After 4 days he stopped cooling. Have contacted the seller. HE NEVER came back. (If you're in Conway, Arkansas and want to know who to avoid, contact me and I'll give you the name.) Okay, now for the good part. I took matters into my own hands and checked the fridge. 3 main parts coming out: 1. Start Capacitor.2. Start the relay (which comes with a capacitor).3. Switchboard. I got all 3 pieces for about $200. First I installed the cover and relay. It's very easy to do. 5 minutes and done. The problem has not been resolved. Then I installed the control board. Even before I programmed the board, the refrigerator started up immediately. I took this as a very good sign. After I programmed the board, it has been working flawlessly ever since. Even though the seller took $700 of my favorite dollars, I managed to turn the total loss into a feeling that I could do things right. Of course I can't, but it was a good rush. A thorium reactor just gathering dust.
