These things get loads of 5 star reviews for a reason. I bought these for an upcoming hike and used them to make s'mores - they worked great. I've seen quite a few people asking questions about the product I'm trying to refer to: - Do they get hot? They are metal and their ends get hot if left on fire for a while, but they don't overheat. hot. I didn't find that the heat extended to about half of the metal part (meaning the parts next to the handle weren't hot at all). The tips get hot but cool quickly and that wasn't a problem for me. Is the length too long or too short? This is the perfect length for me. I could sit in my camp chair by the fire without getting sick and still eat marshmallows with ease. I have no complaints about that. Size/Strength Strong enough to easily toast a hot dog or two on a stick. You can also easily make up to four marshmallows on a stick if you like. I was happy with the strength and size of the tines. Overall I would recommend them to anyone. If I had to criticize I would say that the logo on the handles of my chopsticks is ugly and even like the picture and not perfect - I don't mind much.
