I play pickleball and my dermatologist has highly recommended that I wear a hat that protects my face better than a baseball cap or visor. I was looking for something that would do just that without looking too boring. I chose these and I was surprised that not only did I protect my face, but I also got a lot of compliments, even from men. I love that it protects my face and has an opening for my ponytail so my hair doesn't get in the way while I'm playing. I don't find it hinders my vision during a game any more than a baseball cap. I think I could get it in some other colors as well.
