For $15, you can't really go wrong. The front cover is a polyurethane magnetic flap much like Apple's Smart Cover which I owned previously with my iPad 2 so it will get dirty over time if you didn't pick a dark color. The back cover is a smooth plastic hardshell, there is no soft lining but I don't expect the plastics will scratch the aluminum back over time. The fit is not really air tight but good enough to hold the iPad air in place. The origami folds work well in all of the positions and there are magnets to hold the folds in place. However, the front flap does not stay in place to the back cover whatsoever. This means if you fold the cover entirely against the back, it might flap around.Minor gripes but not enough to duck a star.Oh, I got the blue, it is not as bright as the picture would have you believe, which is a good thing. It is accurate to its matte blue description.Overall, great value and quality is equally as those brand name case costing 2x-3x more.
