Pros: - This is a fun multi-tool that makes a good stocking stuffer or extra gift for the handyman or knife lover in your life. - The knife comes with a durable nylon carrying case (with belt loop) and together weighs 15.5 ounces (439 grams). The multi-tool itself weighs 13.7 ounces (388 grams). Because of the hammer and claw, this tool isn't very handy to keep in your pocket, but it works great when carried in a nylon sheath. I thought the side frames were plastic but I'm glad to see they are aluminum. Steel 3cr13 is inexpensive, but at the same time it has corrosion resistance and strength. Keep in mind that this steel has moderate edge retention and dulls more quickly than higher quality steels, but has the benefit of being much easier to sharpen. 3cr13 steel has many advantages at a very good price. Cons: - No latch holding the blade in the open position. It uses a traditional slip joint that allows the blade to open and close easily. Unfortunately, if the wrong force is applied, the blade can accidentally close. Without the locking system I would not recommend this knife to young or inexperienced knife users.
