Looks like it would go with any decor but it turns out especially nice with all the natural wood and macrame in my daughter's house. I like the braided fabric cord, the kit includes hooks and hangers for ceiling mounting. You can throw it over a curtain rod or plant bracket. Remember that a normal lightbulb is warm and you shouldn't place it next to textiles. Better hang the LED light bulb next to something flammable.
