For the size, I was surprised by how lightweight these earrings are. I have elongated piercing holes due to wearing big heavy earrings in the 1980s so I can no longer wear heavy earrings or even French hook earrings.These earrings came with two different types of backings: a set of regular metal butterfly backings and also a set of plastic disc backings, which I really appreciated because it keeps the earring more firmly placed in my elongated holes.My only complaint is that these earrings are a little bigger than I was expecting and so my hair gets caught up and around the hoops. but to remedy that I think I'll just have to wear my hair up whenever I wear these.They really are beautiful, though!
