Review on White Sofa Arm Clip Table - Armrest Tray for Drinks, Remote Control, and Snacks Holder by Ethan Dualimace

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great in theory but not in use :(

It's well built and the concept comes home to a home run so close some minor improvements in future versions, thing could be great! It's still "normal" as is, but could be a lot better. Two key things are missing: the addition of two different silicone/non-stick Surfaces; inside on the tray and on the contact surfaces of the clamp handles. This increases the grip on the clamp and prevents slipping. Also remember to adjust the width of the armrests (to accommodate different thicknesses of the armrests of the sofa/chair. My pictures are accommodated by a motorhome chair that is smaller than the average "home chair" when the weight of the contents increases shifted to the left or right, the entire tray is easily sucked up. slips and everything falls to the ground. *Especially* if you have something round that has weight. The current clip surfaces that come in contact with your sofa/chair are smooth plastic with small V-notches that just "pretend" to grip. I understand why it's not more aggressive - they didn't want to risk tearing the furniture. A stronger grip could surely be achieved if the silicone surface could stick to the fabric. Stronger springs would also hardly be an option. 3 stars mainly because it's a very smart idea, it just needs to be implemented better.

Pros
  • Strong spring arms keep the table firmly in place, fits both round and square arms
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
