Review on 🔍 Activated Cartridge for Purifier with Transparent Housing by Tom Tucker

Like other reviewers, I had a leakage problem when I first installed the filter housing. I initially installed the unit without using any appreciable amount of Teflon tape or paste, assuming it had good thread tolerances. However, this did not happen and the device leaked. I opened it up and wrapped each male tube in about 5-6 turns of teflon tape, then covered it with teflon paste and reinstalled. This solved all the leakage issues and now the device is working fine. I noticed a difference in the water quality with the carbon filter. Cold water from the sink tastes a little cleaner and more drinkable. I am currently using the 5 micron filter that comes with the kit but will try the 1 micron filter.
