I bought and installed this 10" Skar Audio subwoofer 3 weeks ago. The sound quality was decent for such a small subwoofer, but then it exploded. Having been in the game for a while now and knowing how to install the audio hardware i hooked this subwoofer to a Kenwood X700-5 @ 2 ohms the amp is putting out 500 watts @ 2 ohms and this sub is pulling 500 watts into 2 ohms sounds like a perfect match right "Not right! To make matters worse, my amp was matched with a DD-1 SMD distortion detector, so I know it wasn't my gain settings. Just put $80 down the drain and this subwoofer." is where it belongs now, in the trash
