Jaw cutting edges are approximately .570 inch long. However, only 0.100 inch of the cutting edges actually touch to make an accurate cut. The remaining cutting edges don't touch each other, so they won't cut small wires properly. The manufacturer needs a better process to ensure the cutting edges are fully closed along the full length of the jaws. The handles are comfortable and the adjustable spring opening feature is useful.
