I gave it a four star rating for getting the job done for as long as I needed it - it held the laptop for me (my laptop was heavy - Asus ROG g751jy - 17 inches and almost 10 lbs!), but all the flaws that others have pointed out are there - the tabs on the bottom that are there to hold the laptop in place to hold and prevent it from slipping out. not big enough and when your laptop is tilted like mine it just slides off those tiny ledges and slides off. They give you velcro to hold it in place and while I think they are strong enough to hold the laptop in place they don't look good and they cover up the ports and sockets on my laptop, that I want to use. I no longer have a laptop and don't need it anymore (and I'm glad it was a bad setup) but if it's a setup you MUST work with then this will get the job done, albeit with a lot of downsides, that you can try to deal with or just deal with. Just try to keep it more perpendicular to the ground to reduce the chances of it slipping off those ledges.
