Bought on Wirecutter's recommendation and after 6 months I regret the purchase. Not only is the documentation poor, as other reviewers have said, leading to a frustrating user learning curve when trying to figure out the best way to use the product effectively - its actual shaving performance, which is never stellar, seems to be showing itself in the meantime to have worsened. The face and chin have always been fine, but cutting the upper lip has never been acceptable, and the neck, my god the neck performance on this razor is totally unacceptable in this price range. You end up running over the same spots over and over again causing trouble, or cheating with a drugstore razor which defeats the purpose of using electricity and also causes trouble. The wet approach with shaving cream works a little better, but still doesn't cost $170. inside -- although maybe you shouldn't, but with such poor hieroglyphic instructions, who would have known? After all, why would you need that ridiculous cleaning system pumped with flavored alcohol if not to remove lint and also to conditionally sterilize the cutter head? An electric razor makes you think that if you learn how to use a razor, these problems can be overcome. But a fancy German-branded consumer product shouldn't confuse and disappoint the customer or make them think they're using it incorrectly or making some other mistake if it doesn't work properly. This one fits and I advise you to choose another one.
