We celebrated my granddaughter's 7th birthday on Airbnb in upstate New York. On the eve of her birthday, I decorated the entire basement with unicorns. Unicorn masks on doors and windows, unicorn flip flops hanging from the mantel like Christmas stockings, unicorn rings and keychains hanging from every available hook. There was a lot more stuff in her piñata, including tattoos, which turned out to be the best quality kids have ever used. She said it was the best birthday of her life. She says that every year, but this year I have to agree with her. There is nothing quite like waking up in the morning and seeing a house decorated in your honor.
