I don't think my wife knew what she was getting into when she ordered this blanket. In fact, I'm sure she ordered it without knowing what it was. She is from the Philippines where the climate is very hot and nobody has air conditioning so she is used to sleeping with little or no blankets. Coming from Upper Michigan, on the other hand, I know when to bury myself in a mountain of blankets, so this thing didn't come as a shock to me. Well, at first it seemed like a very cozy, nice novelty, but after a few nights my wife and I both agree that it gets tiresome over time. I think partly because it prevents the routine, unconscious position changes that improve circulation and prevent muscle pain. The quality seems good and it's really soft and comfortable on the surface, inside and out. It's not for us, but for what it is it seems great.
