We bought 4 of these for our 9 foot island. We are delighted with our purchase. The wood on our island has a medium walnut finish and our floors are gray wood laminate. The color of the seat is a beautiful dark brown with gray veins. The color goes perfectly with both types of wood. (Amazing) They look great and are sturdy. My only warning is to either assemble them over single-use plastic or in an easy-to-clean garage. Grease and paint flake off the height adjuster during assembly. We went further and adjusted them up and then down a few times to keep dirt off our floors.
