I don't have much experience in building devices but the car phone assembly instructions were easy to follow and I was able to complete the task quickly. I have mounted the unit on the dash and so far it has held up well even without the need to use the supplied adhesive pad that came with the mount. The gooseneck feature allowed me to position the device so I could easily see my phone while driving, while still being low enough not to obstruct my view. Putting your phone in the holder and taking it out with one click is very easy. I couldn't be happier with this product!
