Very thin buy can support high speeds.
I actually have this cable run outside my house and it's doing pretty well despite not being made for that. It goes out under a door and in under another door in our shed to hook into a mesh router so we can have internet out there. Works fantastic, the slightly thicker cable is great for more serious applications where you might be worried about crosstalk. I've got this running next to a power line and no problems.
