After 15 years of constant use, the housing of my KitchenAid coffee grinder finally broke. I chose this based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. In a way, it's better than KA. The funnel at the top has multi-directional movement when ascending (not part of the hub assembly) and the chute is also much larger. It comes with 3 different abrasive pads that can be easily changed DURING use. (Turn the machine off first!) I've shown the fine and coarse grind, and the internal auger runs smoothly, moving the meat forward over the cutting blade and then pushing it through the platen to set your grind. The hopper pusher (tamper? pestle?) includes a sausage stuffer, extra plates and extra gasket for storage. It can be easily dismantled for cleaning. The kit includes a brush that will help clean the plates of meat debris. Just quickly wash all the parts in the sink, dry them off with a towel and put everything in a large mailbox for next time. Great quality and works better than my old (broken) KA grinder. Very happy with it.
