This is a cute little silicone baby cookware set. I found the part the hands hold was a little thick (the ball part) so depending on the size of your child's hands and the age at which you start using them, they may be harder to hold than thinner ones. Our son (5 months old) knows how to maneuver but keeps it like under the shield. A couple of times he tried to put the huge end in his mouth and nearly hit him before I stopped him, so make sure you're careful feeding anyway. I like that he can operate it himself quite well, so it helps him get used to eating from cutlery. A spoon works better for picking up thinner foods, while a fork works well for thicker foods. on top so that the child cannot put it too far in the mouth. This set is super compact so you can easily take it with you or carry it in your diaper bag.
