These are my first over-ear headphones in this price range and I love them. These sound really great. Now I can hear more details (which I missed in my headphones) in each song. Before settling on the Bose AE2, I tried the Bose OE2, the Beats Solo, some Sony models in this price range and the Skullcandy Aviator at a local store. The Skullcandy Aviator was close, but I found the Bose more comfortable to wear. To me, the OE2 "sounded" better, but was more comfortable around the ear. What I liked: Very comfortable to wear (tried 2-3 hours at a time) and perfect for long tours. A lightweight. The sound quality is crisp and clear. Wired While these aren't noise-cancelling headphones, they do isolate a lot of noise. Very less noise leakage at normal volume. The other side: expensive. You need to turn up the volume to get the full bass effect. Give 4.5 stars but that's not possible here at Revain so give 5 stars. If you want a pair of great sounding headphones that are comfortable to wear in this price range, be sure to try them at your local store.
