Updated Review (Edit): The next day I called their support and finally got through to someone. I explained the situation and they dealt with it properly by sending me another piece. I'm actually very happy with this table. Now I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 1. Old review: I just received this desk and was thrilled to put it together and set it up so I can relax in a lounge chair while I work on my laptop. Unfortunately all I got instead was wasted time and regret. My three main issues with this unit are: 1) Terrible side mounted table that won't stabilize due to a broken handle. The table gets to a point where after assembling the main table you need to thread the rod through the side of the table, put on the washer, insert the pieces into the main hole and then tighten with the handle. However, the handle doesn't stretch at all. I tried many other combinations and came to the conclusion that this is just a bad block. As a result, the side table does not stabilize at all. 2) I tried to contact Platinum Health by phone but got a disconnect message straight away. I tried their chat feature and email but got nowhere. I'm not sure if they're out of work right now or what, but it's not a good sign if you don't get support for the products you're promoting. 3) As mentioned before, the main part of the table has a good function with a pop-up hole/bolt hole, and the table base has the same function to set good angles. My big problem is that there are only two options besides the folded position! Why aren't there more holes for big angles? This would have made the product much better as the table cannot be placed closer to my chair as the legs will not fit underneath. At this point I will be returning the device as I have spent enough time on it.
