Review on Dexter 8&#34 Kitchen & Dining by Ricky Brooks

Bought for my daughter who is moving into her own apartment. I have several Dexter knives with different handle styles. It might not be the most comfortable of all styles, but if you use it for more than 15-20 minutes a day it shouldn't cause fatigue or blistering, it's not like cutting your hair for an 8-hour shift. She will have roommates and who knows how they will take care of this kitchen tool. The more the merrier, with good technique you can cut the point. Teach good knife skills and buy someone you teach knives this is a good basic chef's knife at a good price. The world is full of bad knives and terrible knife handling skills. It's a lifetime skill with tools that will last a long time if used properly.
