Review on 💙 PNY Anarchy 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Desktop Memory Kit - Blue (2x4GB), CL9 - MD8GK2D316009AB-Z by Robert Carlson

I bought one of these kits a little over a year ago to upgrade the slower 8GB of RAM in my desktop computer. My first impressions were very favorable. It was easy to install and I saw a noticeable increase in performance in my PC. In fact, I was impressed enough to buy a second set to upgrade to 32GB of RAM. Everything looks fine, but unfortunately lately I've been getting BSOD errors all the time with various error messages that prevented my computer from booting except in SAFE MODE and then only for a limited time before it crashed. After days of troubleshooting it turned out that one of the memory chips had failed, the solution was to swap out the memory until I found the defective card. As a result, I went back to work with only 16GB and hope there are no more failures. The price is great, but the durability seems questionable. I am happy to report that there is excellent customer service. The item was replaced within 2 weeks of my RMA return. Rating upgrade to 4 stars.
