I tried to use it with the head unit Atoto F7 Pro. The main reason I bought it was because I wanted to quickly switch to the rear camera while driving. F7 has a function to customize the steering wheel buttons, but they don't allow this function to work with their own steering wheel remote control. Nowhere in the manuals does it say this, so I just assumed the remote from the same company would work with this feature. But no. The buttons are what they are and you can't customize them at all. Atoto, please fix this. After figuring this out, I figured I'd still just use it to adjust the volume and change tracks, but after a few rides the remote just stopped working. I took the main unit out and put the receiver back in the back (big pain) and it will be a few more rides before it fails again. Aside from not doing what I originally bought it for, it doesn't work at all unless I want to take out the head unit and reinstall the receiver every few days. He won't care, so he's coming back.
