Saved me money fixing my window problem

I bought a used 2011 Mercedes E-350 Cabriolet that had an issue that caused the driver's window to fall halfway, after it booted up. I had to fiddle with him 2-3 times to get him up. The rear window was also not indexed. I've gone through all Windows indexing fixes dozens of times. I brought it back to where I bought it and they couldn't fix it either. Not even in the local garage. After reviewing many code scanners, I settled on the Foxwell NT510 Elite. It took me a while to figure out how to get to the point where I needed to check and control the windows by using the device to move them up and down, but once I got there the two-way control was amazing. I "denormalized" the window and then reset it. Then both windows worked again. Pretty cool, you can get door locks, lights, seats and pretty much every feature to test out. Who knows, maybe I can control and control the car remotely? I didn't try the windows on a test drive because it was 98 degrees, so I bought them before I noticed the problem. The non-Mercedes dealer tried to avoid solving the problem, so we agreed to split the cost. Now I don't have to give everything in my pocket to make Windows work as intended. It may not have cost as much as a scanner, but my old code reader was useless for the systems this car has. I am about to order GM software so this will be my new code reader.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say
